Origins

This book began as sort of a homage to modern adult humor writers.  I had been reading a lot of A. Lee Martinez, S.G. Browne, Douglas Adams, Christopher Moore...   I also had a strange interest in these mythical creatures.  Leprechauns, faeries, pixies, dragons, ogres, elves...  A few of my own unexplained events in my life sort of center around these creatures.

I was playing around with the idea of these creatures when I developed an idea that they were kind of all in one the same creature.  They were just progressing through the different ones in some odd evolution/video game level up scenario.
